His 87-year old father currently resides at the Brantford Hills Healthcare Facility in Branford, CT His Birth Family... His dad grew up in the neighborhood of Filmore and Clay Street in New Haven, CT. While Joe's mom Gloria grew up on Middletown Avenue also in New Haven, CT. Gloria worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield as a Claims Examiner, while his dad was a truck driver at Wyatt Oil and also owned his own salvage yard. Joe is the second oldest of 4 sons. His siblings include Albert, who resides in Branford, Dino, who resides in North Haven, and Marc, who lives in East Haven, CT His Business.. His Interests... On a more personal note, he is a pet lover, a hobbyist of Nascar, antique cars motorcycles, and wine making. He belongs to the Calamari Club, which devotes itself to voluntarism in the New Haven community. It supplies to large local markets such as Tilcon Ct. supplying liquid asphalt, and hauling oil to numerous colleges, universities, and hospitals in the area. While at East Haven High School, he played basketball for the legendary Coach Frank Crisafi; Joe was a member of the Housatonic League Championship Teams in 1978-79 and 1979-80 and the 1980 Class L State Championship team. His Accomplishments... Joe was selected All Housatonic League in 1978-79 and 1979-80 and All-State Class L in 1980 in basketball and honorable mention All Given all of the above, Joe Carfora wants to be your leader.
