Members of the public are invited to CONNECTICUT DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION VIRTUAL PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING State Project No. 0072-0084 Rehabilitation of Bridge that Carries Route 12 over the Shetucket River in Lisbon and Norwich Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. Learn more & register: http://portal.ct.gov/DOTLisbon72-84 The purpose of this meeting is to provide the community with an opportunity to learn about the proposed project and allow an open discussion of any views and comments concerning the proposed im- provements. A Question and Answer (Q&A) session will immediately follow the presentation. The purpose of this project is to restore a crucial bridge that plays a pivotal role in our transportation network and will extend its service life substantially. Construction is expected to start in summer of 2027. The estimated cost is for this project is $11.6 million, with 80 percent Federal funds and 20 percent State funds. Public can submit comments and questions during two-week public comment period following meeting.
