We operate four outpatient clinics in Groton, Pawca- tuck, New London, and Westbrook. Each clinic offers "open access" walk-in hours for new clients seek- ing services (childandfamilyagency. org/openaccess). CFA provides in- dividual, group, and family therapy. Some of our services can help with mental health challenges associated with loss and relationships. Others may address a specific mental ill- ness, offering support to those cop- ing with anxiety, depression, bipo- lar disorder, or addiction. Therapy can also be a resource for parenting needs and support. Additionally, CFA now operates an Urgent Crisis Center (UCC), providing walk-in care to children experiencing urgent mental health, behavioral, and/or substance abuse crises, such as thoughts of suicide/ self-injury, feelings of depression/ anxiety, out-of-control behav- iors, substance misuse, and more. UCC is located at 255 Hempstead Street in New London and is open Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., for kids 18 and younger. Call 9-1-1 or visit the nearest hospital if a youth needs immediate medical attention or is in immediate danger of hurting themselves or others.
