The George Flynn Classical Concerts Presents THE NEW HAVEN SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA WITH CHORUS PERFORMING CARMINA BURANA SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 4th . 3:00 PM The Morgan School Auditorium 71 Killingworth Turnpike, Clinton On Sunday November 4th The New Haven Symphony Orchestra and The Chorus of Westerly (Rhode Island) will join together for a not-to-be-missed performance of Carl Orff's Carmina Burana, best known for its powerhouse opening and closing movement, "O Fortuna." This afternoon of mystery and enchantment will also include Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty Waltz and Weber's story of the Elf King, Oberon. Now in its 125th year of continuous operation, the New Haven Symphony Orchestra will be conducted by William Boughton and the concert will feature guest vocalists Lisa Williamson, soprano, Tim Fallon, tenor and Zachary Johnson, baritone.
