ARTS & CULTURE The Story of Moromi Soy Sauce Bob Florence, co-founder of Moromi, a North Stonington based company, will speak about creating handcrafted seasonings using traditional fermentation techniques with koji and natural microbiome to transform a variety of local ingredients into unique sauces and condiments. Part of Martha Stewart's "Condiment Gift Guide of 2021", Bob will discuss how he studied to make authentic Japanese fermented products, the history and culture of fermenting, and how Moromi integrated their small batch sauces into the local flavors of coastal Connecticut. Part of this talk will also include a hyper-local food tasting with their products. Suggested donation $5.
