LEGAL NOTICE People who lived at Branford Manor at any time between November 23, 2019 and November 22, 2022 are eligible to receive compensation in a settlement of a Class Action Lawsuit about living conditions at Branford Manor The Class Action Lawsuit alleges that people living at Branford Manor were injured or suffered financial harm because the owner and the property management companies ("the Defendants") did not properly maintain their apartments. What does the Settlement provide? The Settlement will provide compensation to Class Members. Every Class Member that submits a timely Base Payment Claim Form, including children and adults, will get a payment, called a Base Payment, of $1,000 to $3,000 for children and $2,000 to $6,000 for adults. The amount depends on how long the person lived at Branford Manor beginning November 23, 2019 and whether they were a registered tenant of Branford Manor. Some Class Members may claim that they or their family members suffered serious injuries or serious property damage because of the condition of their apartment. These Class Members may apply for additional money, called an "Enhanced Payment," in addition to the Base Payment. How can I get a payment?
