We are an educational company that offers private, small group and online tutoring. Our online tutoring is available to all groups of students, but was primarily set up for our international students learning English to improve in the language in general, to pass a work test for advancement or to pass the TOEFL, which is required at most USA colleges and universities. Locally, in the New London, CT area, I work one-one or small group with struggling readers, K-4, offering reading support and intervention. The goal is to build on the skills they already have, introduce components they may have missed,, but ultimately, get the reading at grade level and try and keep most of the learning from the prior school year. I also offer custom made, academic websites including a blog for the young ones to practice the skills we've been learning. It's designed with the child, so they can pick colors and characters, and the books lists, which they can download and read plus the apps they will be familiar with. All aid in developing these skills in a way they will enjoy.
