The purpose of this project is to support the Southeast Area Transit District (SEAT)'s transition to a sustainable, efficient and accessible transit system by expanding the current facility for the administra- tion, operation, maintenance, and storage of an all-electric fleet. The project includes the design and construction of a new 52,000-sf indoor charging and storage area for electric buses and paratransit vehicles, including an administrative & operational area, and the construction of solar panels as a power source to the facility. Right-of-way impacts are not anticipated. Construction is expected to start in spring 2027, depending on funding. right-of-way acquisition, and permits.
