Members of the public are invited to CONNECTICUT DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION HYBRID Virtual and In-Person Public Information Meeting State Project No. 0105-0217 Rehabilitation of Baldwin Bridge (06200A & 06200B) Carrying I-95 over the Connecticut River and Ferry Road Old Lyme/Old Saybrook September 16, 2024 at 7:00p.m. 52 Lyme Street Old Lyme, Connecticut 06371 Register: http://portal.ct.gov/DOTBaldwin105-217 YouTube Livestream: https://portal.ct.gov/etdotypimarchive The purpose of this meeting is to provide the community an opportunity to leam about the proposed project and allow an open discussion of any views and comments concerning the proposed improvements. A Question and Answer (Q&A) session will imme- diately follow the presentation. The purpose of the project is to address the deficiencies found on different elements of the structure and upgrade to a "State of Good Repair" and extend the life of the two structures. Right-of-way impacts associated with the proposed project are not anticipated. Construction is anticipated to begin fall 2026 based on the avail- ability of funding and approval of permits. The estimated construc- tion cost for this project is approximately $68,175,000. This project is anticipated to be undertaken with 90 percent Federal funds and 10 percent State funds.
