Attorney Johnson, a Gales Ferry native, has always ded- icated herself to helping those most in need. During law school, she interned in the University of Miami Chil- dren and Youth Law Clinic, accumulating 300+ pro-bono hours working with children in Florida's foster care sys- tem. She also worked for the Legal Aid Society of San Diego where she spent 200 hours at the Hall of Justice Courthouse assisting low-income individ- uals navigating legal issues. Before law school, she worked for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Big Bend in Tallahassee, Florida, which provides men- tors to at-risk youth, and volunteered as a Mentor in the organiza- tion's school-based program from 2015-2018. Attorney Johnson has been admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut.
