WHO Really Crucified Christ? All are involved as can be noted in the following: 1. GOD THE FATHER was involved because in His perfect plan He determined that the only solution must involve His Holy Person. God must step into humanity and be the perfect Saviour "I, even I, am the LORD, and beside Me there is no Saviour and there is no God else beside Me, a ust God and a Saviour, there is none beside Me" (Isaiah 43:11: 45:21), "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son John 3:16). "Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain" Acts 2:23). It pleased the Father to bruise His Son on the cross so that sinful men might be saved (Isaiah 53:10). 2.JESUS CHRIST voluntarily "gave His life" and laid down His lfe so that all may be saved who place their complete trust in Him. God, knowing our HELPLESS and HOPELESS condition, showed His mercy by giving His Son, even to the point of death on the cross, making it possible to save us. Christ perfectly took the penalty for our sins: All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way and the LORD hath laid on Him THE INIQUITY OF US ALL" (Isaiah 53:6). But God commendeth HIS LOVE toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, CHRIST DIED FOR US" (Romans 5:8). "For Christ also hath once SUFFERED FOR SINS, the Just (Christ) for the unjust (that's us), that He might bring us to God" (1 Peter 3:18). Yes, the LOVE OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS is able to reach us. God has GOOD NEWS for every hearing heart. God has issued His ROYAL, and RIGHT invitation for every heart to place its whole condition, sourse and cure upon WHO HE IS and WHAT HE HAS DONE His death, burial and resurrection.
