The Word was with God, and the Word was God JESUS IS THE WORD OF GOD "In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He existed in the beginning with God. 3 God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him, The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. $ The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it... 14 So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father's one and only Son" (John 1:1-5, 14 NLT). we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 8 "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. ° If we confess our sins [to God], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteous- ness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us" (1 John 1:1-10). consider it robbery [something to be held onto] to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation [He emptied Himself of His privileges), taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men" (Philippians 2:5-7). By faith in Christ, we can know that we have eternal life and that our sins are forgiven. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). "That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life 2 the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us- 3 that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. And these things we write to you that your joy may be full. $ This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 6 If "My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous. 2 He himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins and not only our sins but the sins of all the world. 3 "And we can be sure that we know him if we obey his commandments. 4 If someone claims, I know God,' but doesn't obey God's command- ments, that person is a liar and is not living in the truth. $ But those who obey God's word truly show how completely they love him. That is how we know we are living in him" (1 John 2:1-5 NLT). "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not Pray to God like this: Dear God, I believe Jesus died on the cross to pay for my sins, and that He arose again on the tihird day. I repent of my sins and ask Your forgiveness. I accept Jesus as my Savior and Lord, and ask that You save me from sin and death. I receive the gift of eternal life by faith in Christ, and I believe my sins are forgiven. Thank You God; in Jesus name. Amen. Ambassadors for Christ P.O.
