RSCT was created by Jay Seigel and Reinhard Straub who have been colleagues and friends for many years. They have been “in the trenches” dealing with the stark reality of addiction for a combined 50 years. Jay and Reinhard see the current opiate crisis as a series of mismanaged and misunderstood health emergencies that have plagued New England, the Tri-state region and the entire USA. They have a passion for traditional abstinence-based recovery and have had great success treating individuals and families struggling with addiction.
In 2018 they founded RSCT, a licensed outpatient substance abuse facility in Madison, Connecticut and recruited a talented staff of dedicated professionals. Given their experience with effective abstinence-based treatment, Jay and Reinhard utilize a systemic multidisciplinary team approach to addiction treatment. The RSCT approach endeavors to engage the Client and whenever possible, the family and stakeholders in the treatment and recovery process.
