Our candidates stand to protect and enhance the current excellence in education that exists in Guilford CT.
Guilford Republicans will have a Primary on Tuesday September 14, 2021 for the Board of Education. An alternative slate was nominated at the caucus on July 22nd, hoping to oust the 3 BOE Incumbents, Amy Sullivan, Ted Sands and Joe Golino. While the alternates succeeded in becoming the caucus endorsed candidates (they received votes from ~3% of the approximately 3,343 registered Rebublicans in Guiford), the 3 incumbents successfully petitioned for a Republican primary, getting 30% more signatures then required to force the primary as verified by the Republican Registrar of Voters on August 12.
