2020 ANNUAL SCARECROW FESTIFALL AND CONTEST! The Essex Board of Trade invites members, friends, and neighbors to submit their homemade scarecrows to the Annual Scarecrow Contest by September 30th! Scarecrows will be hung October 8th along the Main Streets of Essex, Centerbrook and Ivoryton villages. Text to Vote October 8-29th! Winners announced Halloween, October 31st at EssexCT.com. First Place winner receives an Experience Essex, "gift bag" full of generously donated merchandise from Essex merchants! CALLING ALL SCARECROWS! WHO? Who can participate? Anyone! WHAT?
