INFORMATION REGARDING THE CLINTON FAMILY GOLF CLASSIC EVENT HONS (L) June 22, 2020 Clinton Education Foundation These unsettling times are very difficult for everyone, but fortunately we live in a community that is strong and supportive. Over the years, the Clinton Lions Club and the Clinton Education Foundation have supported the community by providing scholarships and grants for students and teachers, funding for the DARE program, and support for Families Helping Families events. Much of the resources for this support has come from our annual golf tournament, the Family Golf Classic, held each June at the Clinton Country Club. We are grateful to all of the local businesses that have contributed to this tournament over the years through sponsorships and donations for our raffle and silent auction. This year, we have decided to cancel the tournament. We understand the stress that the pandemic has put on our community, and we feel it is not the time to ask businesses for donations and sponsorships. Instead, we want to thank each of these businesses for their endless support, and it is our hope that our small community will come together to rally around our local businesses now and in the months to come, especially in light of all the support they have shown our organizations for many years.
