Shoreline Eldercare Alliance You Are What You Eat Improve Your Life Through Food The Shoreline Eldercare Alliance of CT in Partnership with the Community Dining Room Invites you to a Healthy Living Presentation You Are What You Eat- Improve Your Life Through Food A Demonstration conducted by Nikki Satin, Chef/Owner - Chefs for Seniors Sunday, December 11, 2022 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM 30 Harrison Avenue #1, Branford, CT Nikki Satin, Chef/Owner - Chefs for Seniors is a formally trained chef with 30 years of experience. She is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America -1991. Chefs for Seniors specializes in preparing flavorful, nutritious meals. She will speak about healthy meals, and she'll prepare a healthy taste for attendees. The Community Dining Room is a not-for-profit organization providing food, support, and companionship to shoreline residents. CDR's vision is to support basic human needs, to see a well nourished community, and to promote public awareness of the impact of hunger and isolation in our society. All attendees are asked to donate one or more non-perishable food items. The Community Dining Room is in special need of the following. Canned tomatoes (diced or crushed), canned mixed vegetables, salad dressings, low sodium soy sauce and salsa.
