BRANFORD BUSINESS ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Branford’s Clean Energy Ad Hoc Committee has started the Business Energy Efficiency (BEE) program. The program is a joint effort with Eversource, United Illuminating/ Southern Connecticut Gas (UI), and the Peoples Action for Clean Energy (PACE). BEE has been created to bring energy and financial savings to Branford businesses.
Eversource and UI are administering a fund dedicated to improving the efficiency of their commercial customers. This fund is distributed on a first come first served basis. Incentives of up to 80% are available for projects to save energy in:
Oil heat
Gas heat
AC
Lighting
Refrigeration
Manufacturing
